Guided Strengthening Exercise Program

The theory we practice at ACE of Paws is to treat the muscle and soft tissue to effectively manage joint and bone discomfort. Each of our evaluations begins with joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise, and stretching.

By testing each patient’s capabilities, we develop a custom program to treat each patient’s specific needs and work with their owners to continue an approved regimen at home. Our technicians will log muscle growth, strength, and agility at each appointment to adjust their program and address their progress until we reach each patient’s goal.

Why Guided Exercise?

Guided exercise programs speed up recovery and help with mobility, strengthening, and flexibility. There are many reasons why a veterinarian might create a guided exercise program for a patient. Reasons include promoting weight loss, improving range of motion, and improving muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and gait. It can also enhance endurance and performance, decrease pain, and improve healing.
